HISTORY OF POUR OVER LAB

In the recent years we have started to see the 4th wave in different places and it is starting to be an every day thing in the big cities like London, Berlin, New York and Tokyo. The 4th wave celebrates the science of coffee and the obsession to detail and perfect taste experience, focus instead on people who make a coffee with their own style, passion, and knowledge so we called ‘Coffee Professional’. So we started our POUR OVER LAB in 2020; specialty coffee shop inspire by a shared laboratory. We are taking customers who seek to experience something new about the coffee by using our theme, our products, and coffee professional which our slogan ‘The pursuit of a cup of excellent’.

 

Why SPECIALTY COFFEE?

With the strong trend of Specialty Coffee, the market in Thailand is so interesting. People are becoming more aware of Specialty Coffee and want to taste it for a more expensive price. Because of the meticulousness in the production of this coffee It attracts many coffee lovers who want to taste different, unique and sensuous taste.

 

In 2019, Specialty Coffee in Thailand is worth 2 billion baht, accounting for 10% of the value of roasted ground coffee. And continues to grow Thai farmers should find good coffee varieties to enter the Specialty Coffee market, because even though our neighbors Vietnam and Indonesia are cultivating more and wages lower. But in Thailand, we have an advantage in doing qualitative rather than quantity. ‘POUR OVER LAB’ are an artisan coffee roaster. We roast our coffee batch by batch with love and care for our customers so that they can enjoy great-tasting coffee in everyday life.

 

How we roast plays an important part in determining the taste and character of the coffee.

 

Therefore, we aim to roast to bring out the best of aroma and flavor of each bean type.
